The search for the new Miss Kanekalon is set to kick off in a very exciting way as applications officially begin on the 20th of January. Since 2015, the hair and beauty pageant has opened its doors to all young and single African ladies between the ages of 18 and 25 years, residing in Ghana and Nigeria.
In its usual stead, Miss Kanekalon 2018 promises to be a breathtaking event that proudly showcases, supports and promotes astonishing beauty of African ladies, like it did for reigning Miss Kanekalon – the very endearing Benahili Faith Ojeme, who has, since then, traveled, appeared in events, TV, radio and more as the Brand Ambassador of Kanekalon together with Ghana’s very own upcoming producer, Mahalia Bamford, the first runner-up and the multitalented Ojotule Tamarai Opaluwa, second runner-up. They have recently starred in Kanekalon’s hair tips video which demonstrates the versatile style arrangements achieved with Kanekalon braids.

Applicants are also expected to partner with their stylists who will create amazing styles, using Darling Super Star, One Million Braid, and Attraction Braid from Darling, X-pression Ultra Braid, Rich Braid and Super Braid from X-pression to stand them out from the crowd. Stylists will win fabulous business contributing prizes too.
Indeed, the journey has started. The countdown has begun. The stage is now set for Miss Kanekalon 2018.
