Dream it, Do it... Sujimoto Ogundele of Sujimoto group tells grass to grace story

In 1988/1989, in a humble family in Agege, a 7-year old boy who loved building sand castles at Bar Beach had just purchased his first motorcycle (okada) with his savings. Away from all the “African parents slander”, he drew inspiration from his mother’s entrepreneurial spirit and went on to own six motorcycles at the age of 13.

To spur this, his personal contact with a Japanese University Professor, Dr. Sujimoto Koga, at the age of 21 spurred him to “dream it and achieve it:.

At 34, this 37 year old man took the Nigerian scene by surprise with his Medici Terraces Luxury Apartments and launches the tallest residential building in Nigerian.

Fast forward to 2015, Forbes listed him as one of the youngest under -40 billionaires to look out for. Today, his company Sujimoto Group is leading the pace when it comes to luxury real estate.
Not so many people can be trusted with a billion naira, yet local investors raised over a billion naira, a few months ago, for his undisclosed project in Banana Island.

A firm believer of what he calls “Dangotism” (from the name Aliko Dangote), he has given back to the society in immeasurable ways.

Although his dream to build the tallest building in Africa hasn’t fully materialised, we know that “if he can dream it…”

This man is Sujimoto Ogundele, the CEO of Sujimoto Group.
